Cholpon-Ata city hosted a bilateral meeting of the heads of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov and Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov on August 24. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The ministers discussed issues of interdepartmental partnership and signed a Memorandum on strengthening cooperation in the field of prevention, detection, suppressing and solving crimes, as well as interaction in the field of public order and public safety, training and advanced training of personnel.
Ulan Niyazbekov stressed that the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and resolve important issues of law enforcement activity. In turn, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetzhanov, noted the high level of partnership and expressed readiness to provide further assistance in all areas of cooperation.
