Trolleybus drivers in Bishkek have withdrawn their resignation letters. The City Hall confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
«The issue with the drivers was solved in the evening of the same day, when they held a rally. It was agreed that from August 20, with the introduction of cashless payment, their salaries will be increased to 50,000 soms. Taking into account payments and taxes they will receive 40,000-42,000,» the City Hall said.
Drivers of trolleybuses held a rally on August 11. They told that about 100 people had already written letters of resignation. Later it became known that their salaries would be increased to 50,000 soms. The City Hall also announced recruitment of new drivers for vacant positions, promising them high salaries.
