Rostov-on-Don and Osh city will become sister cities. The head of the administration of Don capital Alexey Logvinenko reported.
«The deputies supported our initiative to establish sister city relations and sign an agreement on international inter-municipal cooperation with the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given positive recommendations in this regard,» Alexey Logvinenko said.
At present, a program of trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the administration of Rostov-on-Don and the City Hall of Osh is in force. It is designed for 2023-2027. Several interuniversity agreements have also been signed.
Earlier it was reported that Bishkek and Qingdao (China), Kyzyl-Kiya and Russian Shadrinsk, Bishkek and Yekaterinburg (RF) became sister cities.
