Head of the department of Infocom state enterprise was detained on the fact of purchase of equipment at an inflated price. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The employee of the state-owned enterprise entered into an agreement with the tender participants, acquiring IT equipment at an inflated cost. Some purchases were fictitious without actual delivery.
«Examinations were carried out in the course of the investigation of the criminal case. Preliminary damage amounted to about 57 million soms. By decision of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek the man was placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security,» the state committee reported.
