The total income of organizations in the financial sector of the economy of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 amounted to about 106 billion soms. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
Compared to 2021, the figure increased 1.7 times. This is due to the growth in bank income, which amounted to 92.5 billion soms and increased 1.7 times compared to 2021.
The expenses of financial sector organizations for 2022 increased 1.5 times and amounted to 67.1 billion soms.
According to the results of last year, about 39 billion soms of profit was received in the financial sector of the economy, which is almost 2 times more than in 2021. Profit growth was provided by banks, which accounted for about 97 percent of the increase in the total profit of financial sector organizations (34.7 billion soms).
At least 635 organizations operated in the financial sector of the economy in 2022, including the National Bank, 23 commercial banks, 594 non-banking financial and credit organizations, 15 insurance companies and 2 investment funds.
