Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Baatyrova, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bishkek Olivier Bangerter and Rector of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Continuous Education Rustam Kurmanov awarded certificates to 38 health managers on completion the «Health Management» professional retraining program. The Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The retraining program was developed on the basis of a catalog of competencies with the technical support of the project «Strengthening the health management system», funded by Switzerland. The program consists of 15 modules and covers all aspects of organization management, such as human resources, finance, health policy issues and analysis of the performance of health organizations.
«Switzerland is proud to have provided assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the field of healthcare for many years. Highly professional managers can make a tangible contribution to improving the work of the healthcare organization and the quality of the provision of medical services to the population,» said Ambassador Olivier Bangerter.
The training took place on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Continuous Education.
