Rosselkhoznadzor asks to suspend the certification of trout from only nine fish farms in Kyrgyzstan. The Minister of Agriculture Askarbek Dzhanybekov said at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to him, Rosselkhoznadzor sent the first warning in January 2023.
«The number of fish farms is growing every year. If in 2021 there were 194 of them, then in 2022 — already 292. In January, we received a letter from Rosselkhoznadzor, they found antibiotics in the products of three farms, then in the products of six more fish farms,» he said.
Rosselkhoznadzor appealed to the Veterinary Service of Kyrgyzstan with a request to suspend the certification of trout and trout caviar sent to Russia.
