From January 1, 2023, entertainers and singers are prohibited from lip-synching songs at state and public events. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Altynbek Maksutov.
As the press service of the ministry notes, it does not matter on which platform the singer performs.
Entertainers must perform songs only live — in the buildings of state institutions of education and culture, on the stage of theaters, in sports institutions, philharmonic and concert halls, cinema halls, clubs, museums and libraries. They are banned from lip-synching songs at mass cultural events.
