As part of the land amnesty, the state plans to transfer about 29,000 hectares of agricultural land to private ownership, legalize about 117,000 houses and 15,000 foundations. The Director of the Land Resources Service Abdulat Myrzaev announced at a press conference.
«As of December 26, some 71,794 appeals were received from citizens throughout the republic, 8,273 lists were hanged out, 12,237 technical passports were issued as well as 444 state acts on the right to private ownership of land,» he said.
The head of the ministry noted that social problems of citizens were being solved with the issuance of technical passports, for example, registration at the place of residence, participation in elections, sending children to educational institutions, visiting hospitals, and so on.
At the end of May, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the regulation on the procedure for conducting a land amnesty. The document determines the basic rules and procedures for organizing the work of state bodies and local governments for the transfer (transformation) into the category of land «settlements», the procedure for creating a commission, its functions, the procedure for compiling lists of users, public notification, making decisions by the executive bodies of local government on fixing ownership rights to land amnesty facilities in accordance with the Land Code and the law on the regulation of land and legal relations.
