Digital Code not to regulate content in Kyrgyzstan

The Digital Code will only control data and infrastructure, but will not regulate content in Kyrgyzstan. The leading partner of the international consortium for the development of digital legislation, Director of Civil Initiative for Internet Policy Public Foundation, Tattu Mambetalieva, announced at a briefing.

According to her, the Ministry of Digital Development has already provided the maximum possible in digital format. It is now necessary to work at the level of each individual ministry and department, but there are legal difficulties.

«The Social Fund still does not provide data, as it is guided by its own legislation. It does not comply with the regulatory legal acts used by the Ministry of Digital Development. There is a legal conflict. In order for the authorities to exchange information, we began to develop the Digital Code. We could provide about 20 public services on the example of one ministry only,» Tattu Mambetalieva said.

There are no analogues to the Digital Code, she said. Kyrgyzstan will not be able to plagiarize it anywhere. It will be an absolutely unique document.
