Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Valery Zhovtenko. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reports.
The parties discussed a number of issues on the bilateral agenda.
«Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Jeenbek Kulubaev noted the importance of the speedy restoration of peace and stability in the country and reiterated the unchanging position of Kyrgyzstan on the need to resolve this crisis exclusively by peaceful, political and diplomatic methods within the framework of generally recognized principles and norms of international law,» the statement says.
