The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is going to issue three new silver collectible coins. Website of the bank says.
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic announced a competition among artists-designers for the development of draft designs of collectible coins of the national currency of Kyrgyzstan for 2023.
It is planned to issue a round coin «Beshikke saluu» in the series «Kyrgyz customs and rituals», as well as two square coins — «At chabysh» from the series «World Nomad Games» and «XXXIII Olympic Games» from the series «Sport».
Participants of the competition have to develop at least four draft designs for each coin, two for the obverse and reverse sides. Each draft design must be accompanied by comments on the meaning content of the presented design of the collectible coin.
Sketches must be submitted by December 5, 2022.
The winner of the competition is paid a reward in the amount of 100,000 soms per coin, 50,000 soms for each side of the coin. Payments are made only for draft designs approved by the Board of the National Bank.
