First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on increasing the share of non-cash payments and settlements in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that work is underway to introduce digital technologies into the administration of tax revenues. He is confident that the growth of non-cash payments will significantly increase the revenue side of the state budget and ensure transparency of financial flows.
The progress of implementation of the state program on increasing the share of non-cash payments and settlements for 2018-2022 was considered. Officials were instructed to create conditions for cashless payments not only at large trade and service enterprises, but also in cafes / restaurants, private medical clinics, private educational institutions, state and municipal institutions in the field of healthcare, public catering, transport and culture.
In addition, commercial banks were recommended to organize work on the widespread installation of equipment for cashless payments, and the Ministry of Digital Development, together with Kyrgyztelecom OJSC, should provide the possibility for providing commercial banks with high-quality Internet communications, including in the regions of the country.
