Planned repairs will be carried out in the central part of Bishkek from June 20 to July 20 to replace worn-out sections of gas pipelines and outdated equipment. Gazprom Kyrgyzstan company reported.
According to the company, it is impossible to turn off small sections due to worn-out state of valves and taps in the wells. The gas pipeline of medium and low pressure was put into operation in 1970.
Supply of gas will be suspended from June 20 to July 20 in the area bounded by Osmonkul, Tolstoy, Beishenalieva (Ala-Archa river), Malyshev, Bayalinov (Big Chui Canal), Zhibek Zholu streets.
Due to the large shutdown area, the gas supply will be resumed as repairs are completed.
Gazprom Kyrgyzstan apologizes for the inconvenience and asks consumers to switch to alternative energy sources.
