Athletes from Kyrgyzstan took the second team place at Eurasia Cup 2022 in Fergana (Uzbekistan). The Taekwondo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, more than 700 athletes from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and India took part in the tournament.
Fazliddin Atakhanov (70 kilograms) and Kanykei Kalybekova won gold medals. Mukhamedali Zhoraev (54 kg) won a silver medal. Kanykei Kalybekova (50 kg) and Alina Askarbekova (55 kg) won bronze medals.
