Eight employees of the operation and dispatch service hold a protest at the entrance to the airport. One of them, Zhyldyz Toktorbaeva, told that they were not satisfied with the head of the company.
«He demands from the head of our service to resign. The head of the airport also reprimands all departments; we get from five to seven reprimands a week. Before the New Year, he refused to issue a bonus to us with the wording «improper execution of duties.» We applied to many instances — Manas airport, the trade union committee. A commission was created, protocols were drawn up. But nothing has changed for six months,» she said.
Another airport employee stressed that he had not had a single reprimand for nine years of work. «But in two weeks at the end of 2021, I was reprimanded two times. They showed me a document. However, the members of the commission from Bishkek explained that the reprimand was unreasonable. There is pressure on our employees. We work around the clock, we were even forbidden to have a rest,» he concluded.
