Arzybek Kozhoshev visits Ak-Tilek checkpoint

First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev visited Ak-Tilek-Avtodorozhny checkpoint.

It turned out that there is no accumulation of vehicles now, the checkpoint is operating normally.

The official noted that the situation at the checkpoint had stabilized after negotiations with the Kazakh side.

Arzybek Kozhoshev also called on exporters to comply with the points of the signed protocol — carriers are required to have all the necessary accompanying documents (electronic invoices) for goods exported through the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border.

«An interdepartmental working group has been created, consisting of employees of the Tax Service and internal affairs bodies, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, border guards, who will check presence of all the necessary accompanying documents for goods exported to the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union near the Ak-Tilek checkpoint on the bypass road. If there are no required documents, trucks will not be able to cross the state border and will remain on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic,» Arzybek Kozhoshev said.

Earlier, there was a large line of trucks in the area.

On April 19, 2022, the First Deputy Prime Minister Arzybek Kozhoshev and the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov held online talks on this issue.

The Kazakh side will not carry out inspection and take control measures in relation to trucks moving from the Kyrgyz Republic in transit to the EAEU countries through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, if there are all the necessary accompanying documents for the transported goods.
