Agreements for $758.3 million have been signed with international development partners from October 2020 to the present. The Ministry of Finance provided such data.
At least $291.5 million are grants and $466.8 million are loans. The loans are provided on preferential terms.
«The funds are received mainly for the implementation of large investment projects to improve the country’s infrastructure, including to improve local and international roads, reform the energy industry, build social institutions, fight the COVID-19 pandemic, provide population with clean drinking water, and improve the irrigation system of the republic. Financial assistance is provided in the form of budget support for the country’s fiscal and monetary policy,» the Ministry of Finance stressed.
