Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev held a meeting on formation of the Coordination Council of Development Institutes of the country. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Representatives of business community, enterprises in the sphere of development of agricultural clusters, state agencies and financial institutions took part in the meeting.
Bakyt Torobaev noted that the Council’s goal is to increase efficiency and consolidate resources of development institutions and banks to implement strategic investment projects by developing and preparing recommendations and proposals, as well as measures for their integrated support and promotion.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet stressed the priority development of the sphere of agriculture and green economy.
During the meeting, its participants discussed the issues of the Council’s future activity, its interaction with stakeholders, government agencies and financial institutions. The participants discussed topical issues of agro-industrial enterprises development. It was noted that the organizational support of the Council’s activity is entrusted to the Council’s Secretariat, which is formed on the basis of the competence of the Institute of Economic Policy Research.
