There are 1,400 million citizens who make social deductions in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Chairwoman of the Social Fund Gulnura Zhumataeva said at the parliamentary hearings on reform of the pension system and the draft concept of compulsory health insurance for 2023-2026.
According to statistics, there are two working citizens per one pensioner in Kyrgyzstan, she said.
«If one pensioner is fed by less than three citizens, that is, those who make social contributions, it is believed that this system will have problems in the future. According to statistics, there are two citizens per one pensioner in our country. In fact, it is less than one — 0.8 percent. It is because a half of 1,400,000 citizens are agricultural producers with an income of 3 percent. The full amount of social contributions is paid only by 50 percent,» Gulnura Zhumataeva.
According to her data, the highest average pension is in Bishkek (8,119 soms), wage — 22,677 soms. The lowest is in Osh (5,737 soms), and the lowest average wage is in Batken (13,000 soms).
«Most of the social contributions are made in Bishkek, then in Chui and Jalal-Abad regions,» the Deputy Chairwoman of the Social Fund said.
