The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow.
«Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite you, dear Mikhail Vladimirovich, to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan,» Akylbek Japarov invited his Russian counterpart.
He thanked him for the opportunity to meet for a more detailed discussion of topical issues on the bilateral agenda. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers stressed that Kyrgyzstan intends to continue the course aimed at the continuity of the multifaceted vector of development of relations between the two countries.
«I would like to express my gratitude for the decision of the Russian side to resume on a reciprocal basis regular air traffic between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. I would like to thank you once again for the delivery on November 12 of humanitarian aid in the form of 200,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine. This, of course, will allow us to fight the pandemic more effectively and accelerate the mass vaccination of our population,» Akylbek Japarov said.
«I would like to note that we always feel the support of the Russian leadership and your personal attention, dear Mikhail Vladimirovich, for which we are very, very grateful. We, of course, as closest allies, support the issue you raised at the last meeting on nominating Moscow as a candidate city for the World Expo in 2030. Let me also convey to you and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin personal words of support from our President Sadyr Japarov and wishes for a successful holding of exhibition. For our part, we, of course, express our readiness to provide all possible assistance in this matter,» he concluded.
