The first in Central Asia German-French festival of films for children and youth will take place at Ala-Too cinema on November 22-26 in Bishkek. The Embassy of France in Kyrgyzstan reported.
At least 13 full-length and 12 short films will be screened in the capital.
The films introduce the palette of modern cinema in Germany and France and are addressed not only to children, but also to interested persons of all ages: parents, teachers, movie lovers from all over Kyrgyzstan.
There will be a panel discussion and a Q&A session with guests from Germany and France.
The films are for viewers aged 4 and older.They will be screened with dubbing or subtitles in Russian.
The festival is organized by the Goethe Institute in Kazakhstan and the French Alliance in Bishkek with the support of the Schlingel festival, the French Institute, the French Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the German Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
