Competent authorities of Turkey seized an internal passport of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan N.E. in connection with suspicion of fake. The Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The document is being examined by the Turkish side.
«The Kyrgyz side asks to return the passport and stop the investigation, as well as to lift the ban on leaving the country for the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic. An appropriate note was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey with a request for an early resolution of the issue,» the department noted.
The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul keeps the issue under control and is in constant contact with the Kyrgyzstani.
