Pedestrian zone with a bicycle path will appear in Bishkek microdistrict Vostok-5. Head of Sverdlovsky district of the capital Murat Osmonov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the pedestrian zone will appear along Chui Avenue from T. Aitmatov Street until 7 April Street. Part of the stores will have to be moved, capital buildings will be renovated. An alley with trees, a bicycle path will appear in the center of Vostok-5.
«It will be one more place for the citizens and guests of Bishkek to relax, so to say, a mini Arbat in the capital. This territory is not developed now,» said Murat Osmonov.
At least 19 million soms were allocated from the city budget for the implementation of the project.
