As a result of 2018, at least 29,706 crimes were registered in Kyrgyzstan that is 2,000 more than in 2017. Senior Prosecutor of the Directorate for the Supervision over Intelligence Operations of the Prosecutor General’s Office Nurlan Kachugulov.
According to him, 3,411 grave and especially grave crimes (11.5 percent of the total number) were registered.
In 2018, there were committed 202 murders, 235 rapes, 230 facts of causing serious harm to health and 823 facts of causing especially serious harm to health.
Detection rate of grave and especially grave crimes reached 83.2 percent.
