Kyrk Choro threatens with extreme measures if their demands not fulfilled

Public Association Kyrk Choro holds rally near the building of Bishkek City Administration. Its representatives oppose the march, which took place on March 8 in the capital.

Organizer of the protest Zamirbek Kochorbaev said that the rally participants put forward three demands: to bring to justice officials of local self-government and government agencies that gave permission to hold the march, organizers of the feminist march and legislatively ban propaganda of LGBT.

Activist Amanbol Babakulov said that if the authorities did not fulfill the demands of the protesters, they were ready to take extreme measures. He also invited the rally participants to go to the Parliament building in order to continue the protest there and hand over a letter with their demands to representatives of the Parliament.

According to Amanbol Babakulov, after the march on March 8, he lost respect for the human rights activist Rita Karasartova and ex-MP Ravshan Jeenbekov. According to him, they, using American grants, participated in this march.
