The Prosecutor’s Office appealed the verdict to ex-MP Muzaffar Isakov. The Prosecutor General’s Office informed 24.kg news agency.
It is clarified that the state prosecution does not agree with such a soft sentence. The criminal case will be now considered in Jalal-Abad Regional Court.
Muzaffar Isakov was charged with corruption. According to investigators, the former parliament deputy, being the head of Tash-Bulak rural administration, issued 315 illegal decisions on the allocation of agricultural land for individual housing construction. Suzak District Court of Jalal-Abad region sentenced the former deputy to three years of suspended sentence. Prior to this, the prosecutor asked to sentence him to 12 years in prison.
