Kyrgyzstanis won 10 gold medals at the 56th International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament in memory of Kaba uulu Kozhomkul. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The competitions were held on December 17-18 at the Palace of Sports named after Kozhomkul in Bishkek with the participation of wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Athletes competed for medals in ten weight categories. Talgat Tynchtykbekov (57 kg), Toktogul uulu Aibek (61 kg), Ernazar Akmataliev (65 kg), Islambek Orozbekov (70 kg), Bekzhan Dzhambulov (74 kg) became champions.
Jovidon Khamudov (79 kg), Mirlan Chynybekov (86 kg), Askar Azamatov (92 kg), Arslanbek Turdubekov (97 kg) and Muzafar Zhappuyev (125 kg) also showed good results.
