The Accounting Chamber conducted an audit at the National Center for Torture Prevention for 2016-2017.
Financial violations for 164,900 soms were revealed, including unreasonable payment of salaries for 129,900 soms and misuse of public funds for 35,000 soms. About 49,300 soms were used irrationally.
The center also broke the state procurement law. Without complying with the procedures, purchases were made for 81,300 soms. During 2017, transportation costs were paid and miscellaneous goods were purchased for 172,700 and 200,400 soms at the expense of special means without a tender.
