Kyrgyzstanis won two medals at the Asian Rowing and Canoe Championship. The head coach of the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Roganov informed 24.kg news agency.
Competitions took place in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) with the participation of athletes from 16 countries.
Maxim Serditov and Erlan Sultangaziev won silver medals in up to 23 years age group in the kayak pairs competitions at a distance of 200 meters. Rodion Tuigunov and Vyacheslav Soldatov won a bronze medal in the same race, but among the rowers under 18.
«The last time our rowers won medals at the Asian Championship in 2013. There are 500-meter races ahead. We also hope for medals,» noted Oleg Roganov.
