According to its data, frosts to −3 ...- 1 degree Celsius are forecasted for October 15 in the agriculture areas of Chui, Talas, Issyk-Kul regions and in the foothill areas of Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions.
Rain, snow in the piedmont and mountainous regions, in some places heavy precipitation are expected on October 16-17. Snow drifts, packed snow and ice covered ground are expected in mountainous areas with an increase of western wind to 18-23 meters per second.
Air temperature in Chui, Talas valleys will drop at night to −3 ...- 1 degrees, in the daytime — to 0 ... + 5; in the valley zone of Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken regions it will drop at night to −2 degrees Celsius, in the afternoon +4 ... + 9; in the foothill areas of Issyk-Kul region at night — to −5, in the daytime — to 0 ... + 5 degrees; in the farming zone of Naryn region and in mountainous areas at night — to −7 degrees, in the afternoon — to −5 ... 0, in the highlands at night to −12 in the afternoon — to −7 degrees.
Such unstable weather will complicate grazing of livestock on pastures, work of motor transport, communications enterprises, energy and utilities services. Frosts are dangerous for non-harvested vegetables.
