Participants of the international motocross «Roads of Victory. Tehran-75!» will arrive in Bishkek on May 10. Its route passes through the territory of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran.
The motorcycle race is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the first for the Second World War conference of " the big three" of the leaders of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition — Stalin (USSR), Roosevelt (USA), Churchill (Great Britain), held in Tehran from November 28 to December 1, 1943. The motocross was organized by the Fund for Support of the Patriotic Forces «Night Wolves» (Moscow). The purpose of the campaign is to draw the attention of CIS citizens to the historical facts of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the decisions on the post-war world order, adopted at the conference in Tehran.
Participants of the motocross will lay wreaths at the graves of soldiers, who died of wounds in the base hospitals in 1941-1945, visit memorial complexes and monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, meet veterans, siege survivors, representatives of local moto movements, the youth and the media.
