Sooronbai Jeenbekov accepts Nursultan Nazarbayev's invitation to come to Astana

Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Aizada Subakozhoeva told when the president of Kyrgyzstan will visit Astana.

Negotiations in a narrow format and a meeting in an expanded format are planned. The sides will sign a document on the regime of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border and an agreement on demarcation of the border.

«The border with Kazakhstan is 1,241 km. Demarcation work is completed. With the signing of the document, legal registration will be completed,» Aizada Subakozhoeva noted.

Recall, an informal meeting of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev took place in Minsk on November 30, after which the sides signed a road map. In the same place, the head of the KR received an official invitation to visit Astana.
