Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev announced that the capital is considering launching night bus routes. He announced this as part of Open Cabinet project.
According to the mayor, the issue has been submitted for public discussion. After its completion, the authorities are ready to create conditions for public transport to operate at night.
«We are currently conducting a public discussion. After that, we are ready to create conditions for buses to operate at night,» Aibek Dzhunushaliev said.
He noted that a separate fare is planned for night buses. According to preliminary estimates, the fare could be 50-70 soms.
The mayor added that buses will be able to run until the morning.
