Inauguration of new president to take place no later than November 25

The inauguration of the new president of Kyrgyzstan may take place on November 25. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan told 24.kg news agency.

The Commission noted: if today the Central Election Commission announces the results, on the next Friday, October 27, they will be published in Erkin-Too newspaper, and inauguration will take place within 30 calendar days from the publication.

«Thus, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will take the oath no later than on November 25,» the CEC stressed.

Elections of the head of state took place on October 15. The nominee from SDPK Sooronbai Jeenbekov won the majority of votes — 54.79 percent.
