Almazbek Atambayev expresses condolences to heads of United States and Mexico

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev expressed his condolences to US President Donald Tramp in connection with the numerous casualties caused by hurricanes in the states of Texas and Florida.

«On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on my own behalf, I express my deep condolences in connection with the numerous victims as a result of the devastating hurricanes that occurred in the states of Texas and Florida.  I convey my deep condolences and words of sympathy to the relatives and friends of the deceased, as well as the wishes of a speedy recovery to all the victims,» the message says.

In addition, the head of the KR expressed his condolences to the President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto in connection with the victims of the earthquake.

Hurricane Irma is called the most powerful in the Atlantic over the last decade. The wind speed in the center of the hurricane reached 300 km / h. It reached the fifth, maximum category — it is stronger than the hurricane Harvey, which earlier hit the coast of Texas and led to a catastrophic flooding.
