Preparatory work on the construction of a section of the road Kyzyl-Kiya-Kok-Talaa of the Osh-Batken-Isfana road in Batken Oblast began. This was reported by the press service of the plenipotentiary representation of the government in the region.

As noted, the construction contractor is the Turkish company «Alki», which intends to attract local workers and complete the construction in two years.
As the plenipotentiary government reported to 24.kg news agency, the villages of Markkaz and Maydansky rural administration are located along the site, and trees, fences and other structures that prevent the construction of the future road are likely to be demolished.
