Economy class housing to be built in each regional center of Kyrgyzstan

Economy class houses will be built for participants of the mortgage program in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. The State Mortgage Company reported.

According to it, MINUR LLC was recognized the winner of the tender among construction companies in Naryn region. Preparation of design estimate documentation for new houses in Batken, Jalal-Abad and Talas cities is nearing completion. In Osh, their construction is under discussion.

The new 5-storey residential buildings, built in each regional center, will have 60 apartments: 30 one-bedroom and 30 two-bedroom apartments.

Until the end of 2020, GIK JSC intends to build 130,000 square meters of housing.

As JSC told 24.kg news agency, the price will not exceed 40,000 soms per one square meter.

So far, only employees of state organizations participated in the mortgage program, but in 2017 the German Development Bank allocated a grant of € 11 million for mortgage lending in the regions. And everyone who has a family income less than € 250 per month can participate in the program. However, this program does not include Bishkek and Osh.

As Asanova noted, it is necessary to apply to local state administrations for registration of mortgage in the regions.
