Temirkul Omuraliev, one more unemployed, applied to CEC to be registered as self-nominated candidate for the post of president.
Akbaraly Aytikeev also expressed a desire to run for the presidency. He is the leader of the Party for the Protection of the Interests of Workers of Industry, Agriculture and Low-Income Families, Vice-President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the CIS, Baltic and Eastern European Countries. He runs for the post as self-nominated candidate.
Up to date, the CEC has received 48 applications from presidential candidates. 38 of them are self-nominees, ten applications are the result of decisions of parties on the nomination of their leaders.
