Bishkek Mayor's Office opens swimming season on Pioneer and Komsomol Lakes

Pioneer and Komsomol Lakes are ready for the swimming season. Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.

A week ago the Mayor’s Office asked to refrain from swimming in these water reservoirs, until the preparatory work is completed.

As of today, the lakes are completely filled with water and ready to receive the people. The municipal enterprise Zelenstroy cleared the setting pits, delivered 680 tons of sand and disinfected the bottom.

«Law enforcement officials from 8.00 to 24.00 will patrol the territory of Karagachevaya Roscha Park daily. Rescue posts for timely assistance on the lakes will be put up. Rescuers will be daily on duty from 12.00 to 21.00 and will continue to work until October," the Mayor’s Office commented.
