More than a thousand schoolchildren and students help the law enforcement officers to counteract extremism. The representative of the 10th Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Bakiyev stated at the Bishkek International Anti-Terrorism Forum.
A project Internet Patrolling was created at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which attracted more than a thousand schoolchildren and students. «Its goal is to monitor open sources on the Internet: the guys help our employees to detect content that contains extremist literature or various prohibited materials," Erlan Bakiyev said.
He noted that now the so-called Internet imams are widely used on the Internet. «There is a need to develop a bill regulating Internet relations to ensure information security," Erlan Bakiyev said.
