Migrants transferred $ 444.4 million to Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2017

Since the beginning of the year, migrants have transferred $ 444.4 million to Kyrgyzstan, which is almost 68 percent more than in 2016. Such data is given in the National Bank of the country.

It is noted that most of the transfers accounts for Russia. From there, $ 433.1 million transferred. Last year, the figure was $ 290.8 million. The volume of transfers has updated the record of 2013, when for the first quarter $ 411 million soms were transferred to the country.

It should be noted that in just a month the inflow of remittances to Kyrgyzstan increased by $ 59 million. At the same time, money transfers from Kyrgyzstan over the same period amounted to $ 87.4 million. Thus, the net inflow of money is estimated at $ 357.1 million.
