Duishenbek Zilaliev tells President of Kyrgyzstan about talks with Centerra

The Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Natural Resources, Duishenbek Zilaliev, told Almazbek Atambayev about the talks with the Canadian company Centerra on the settlement of existing environmental issues and promotion of Kyrgyzstan's economic interests in the project. According to it, during the meeting with the head of state, Duishenbek Zilaliev told about the measures taken to further increase the transparency of processes in the mining industry and eliminate corruption risks, attract investment and expand exploration.

«Almazbek Atambayev stressed the need to protect national interests for efficient and rational use of natural resources in the interests of the country and its citizens, as well as to ensure transparency in the work of mining companies," the Presidential Administration said.
