Residence registration of a person can be checked online at e.srs.kg electronic services portal, the State Registration Service (SRS) reported.
Its press service specifies that on May 1 the acceptance of documents for registration and issuance of an identification card — passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic of 2017 (a biometric passport) began. It is reported that a mandatory requirement for its receipt is the presence of a citizen’s registration in the SRS database.
«If the current information of a citizen is available in the Single State Register of Population, then no references or copies of documents are required when filling out an electronic form for obtaining a new passport. Thus, the new online service allows citizens to know in advance the information on the presence of a residence registration in the Single State Register database, before going to the public service center or the passport and visa registration department," the message says.
