In Bishkek, where a meeting-requiem dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev laid flowers to the Eternal Flame.
Participants of the ceremony paid tribute to the victims of the war by holding a moment of silence.
The ceremony was also attended by heads of branches of state power, the leadership of the presidential staff, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Bishkek City Administration, war veterans, heads of diplomatic missions and missions, military attaches of foreign embassies and military personnel.
