Kyrgyzstanis take first place at international streetball tournament

Kyrgyzstanis took the first place at the Above the Rim Vol.1 international basketball tournament 3 on 3 (streetball),  3×3planet.com reported.

According to it, the competitions were held in Almaty (Kazakhstan) on April 15–16. Medals were played in two age groups: 14–18 and over 18 years old. In the junior categoryб six teams from three countries fought for the victory. At the group stage, the team of Kyrgyzstan defeated the teams AMU (Kazakhstan) — 13:12, Infernal Flame (Russia) — 21:3 and Sportiki (Kazakhstan) — 21:0. During the match for gold, Kyrgyzstanis again defeated AMU — 21:9.

 10 teams from five countries participated in the senior group. At the preliminary stage, the team of the Kyrgyz Republic lost to the teams of Iran — 14:21 and Uzbekistan — 13:17 and won the teams LaVa (Kazakhstan) — 13:9 and EA (Kazakhstan) — 18:14. Kyrgyzstanis didn’t get to playoff, taking fifth place in the final protocol.
