Ksenia Palkina takes third place at tennis tournament in Turkey

Ksenia Palkina took the third place at the international tennis tournament held in Antalya (Turkey), the official website of the international federation of this sport reported.

As it is noted, in the singles category, Kyrgyzstani has held two matches. In the first with a score of 6:4, 6:4 she won Mariana Dražić (Croatia), and in the second lost to Sofia Kovalets (Ukraine) — 3:6, 3:6.

In the doubles, Palkina played in a duet with Sofia Shapatava (Georgia). At the start they beat the Serbian Militsa Kurbanovich and Boyana Markovic — 7:5, 6:2. In the quarterfinals they won Marina Chernyshova (Ukraine) and Inbar Kohen (Israel) — 6:1, 6:2. In the duel for reaching the finals, Palkin and Shapatava lost to Diya Evtimova (Bulgaria) and Yasmina Tinjic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) — 6:1, 2:6 (6:10).
