The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan decided to reorganize the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyz Munai Kompaniyasy (Kyrgyz Oil Company), established just a year ago. The corresponding resolution was signed by Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev.
According to the document, Kyrgyz Munai Company will be merged with the state-owned enterprise Facilities Management Directorate, which will become the legal successor to all rights and obligations of the company.
The State Property Management Agency has been tasked with conducting an inventory of the company’s assets and liabilities, resolving financial issues, and completing all activities related to the reorganization.
In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers has invalidated several previously adopted decisions, including the resolution of May 12, 2025, which established Kyrgyz Munai Company, as well as subsequent documents regulating its activities. The resolution will take effect in ten days.
Kyrgyz Munai Company was established in May 2025 under the State Property Management Agency to supply the domestic market with fuel and lubricants. Just a few months later, the Cabinet of Ministers designated it as the single fuel supplier for state-owned enterprises and companies with state participation. The company was intended to centralize fuel and lubricant procurement for strategically important sectors, including aviation, railways, road construction, and mining.
