The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan issued a weather alert. According to meteorologists, from July 1 to 5, unstable weather conditions and expected localized heavy rainfall may trigger mudflows in foothill and mountainous areas.
In addition, river water levels are expected to rise.
Rescue services are urging residents and tourists to take precautionary measures, avoid riverbeds, gorges, and other potentially hazardous areas during rainfall, and to take weather forecasts into account when planning trips to mountainous regions.
In the event of an emergency, citizens are advised to immediately contact emergency services.
