National competition for young manaschi to be held in Bishkek

The Kyrgyz National Theater Manas will hold a national competition to identify and support talented young manaschi. The Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to the ministry, the main goal of the competition is to popularize national values through the great epic Manas, as well as to discover and develop the creative potential of the younger generation.

Young manaschi from all regions of the republic who have successfully passed the previous qualifying rounds will participate in the competition. They will demonstrate their skills in the final round, after which the best will be determined.
